바위선교회 6대 중점사역 / Main Ministries of VOWE Missions
바위선교회는 다음의 6가지 사역에 중점을 두고 섬기고 있습니다.
본부사역(Home Ministry)
1) 본부사역 중 첫째는 기도하며 꿈꾸며 기획하는 일입니다. 북한 땅을 가슴에 품고, 그 땅에서 만났던 사람들을 기도중에 다시 만나며 사역을 계획하며 꿈꾸는 일입니다.
주께서 친히 일하시는 바위 선교회가 되기 위해서 바위선교회는 기도하는 일을 최우선으로 두고 각처에서 매월 모여 기도하고 있습니다.
매월 2번째 주간- 빅터빌 바위기도회(목요일 오전 11시), 라스베가스 바위기도회(목요일 저녁 6시), LA 연합기도회(토요일 오후 3시)

기도모임 에서는 여러 사역자들의 나눔과 북한 방문 보고, 사역 진행과 새로운 사역의 시도에 대한 보고, 사역자/동역자 근황 보고, 선교회 재정 보고와 함께 마음을 모아 부르짖는 기도가 드려집니다. 기도회 후에는 기도모임 보고서가 제작되어 회원 여러분들께 전달됩니다.
2) 두 번째 사역은 기도하며 사람 키우는 일입니다. 현재 북한을 방문하며 사역하는 동역자는 물론 북한이 열릴 때를 준비하여 차 세대 지도자들을 훈련시키고 키우는 일입니다.
3) 세 번째 사역은 동역하는 기관과 함께 기도하며 협력하는 일 입니다.
현재 바위선교회가 직접 파송한 사역자는 없지만, 여러 단체와 개인들을 지원하고 후원하며 함께 사역하고 있습니다.
주께서 기뻐하시는 귀한 동역 Network Ministry를 통해 더욱 귀한 사역과 섬김이 되기를! 저희는 기도합니다.
4) 네 번째 사역은 기도하며 자료 수집하는 일입니다.
새로 시작 하시는 동역자들이나 다음 세대 사역자, 또는 관심 있는 분들을 위해서 자료와 기록을 수집, 보관, 전달하고 있습니다.
5) 다섯 번째 사역은 기도하며 모금하는 일입니다.
현재 “하나셋”회원 (매 달 $30.00 지원) 135명, 후원이사(매 달 $100.00 지원) , 특별 후원이사(사역 내용과 때를 따라서 지원) 를 기도하고 있습니다.

방문사역(Visiting Ministry)
방문사역은 방문을 통한 관계형성, 발전에 중점을 두는 사역 입니다.
사도 바울이 죄수로 로마 황궁의 시위대에 갇혔지만 그 일로 간수들과 시위대가, 더 나가서는 로마황실이 복음화 되고, 드디어는 로마와 온 세상이 복음화 된 것처럼 잦은 방문과 교제를 통하여 주님을 믿는 자들의 아름다운 모습을 보여주는 사역입니다.
바위선교회는
매 해 봄과 가을 북한을 방문합니다. 현장 사역자들과 사역 현장을 방문해서 격려하고 위로하며 주님의 사랑을 전하는 일과,
무엇보다도 현장에서 아침 저녁으로 예배를 드리는 일을 최 우선합니다.
그 땅을 사랑하는 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 동족과 아이들에게 전하는 일에 최선을 다하며
주님이 주시는 새로운 사역과 사명들을 깨닫고 찾아가는 귀한 여정입니다.
또한 앞으로 바위선교회는 주께서 넓히시는 지평을 따라, 동남아시아와 유럽의 선교지/사역지도 방문할 계획입니다.

동해안 사역East – Coast Ministry
1) 동해안 사역은 동해안의 항구들이 열리고 각 항구마다 철도와 고속도로가 연결되어 지역이 번창하게 되고 복음이 전파 되기를 기도하며 준비하는 사역입니다. 동해안의 항구들은 보면 볼수록 아름답고 항구로서의 입지조건이 좋다는 생각이 듭니다. 이 항구들을 통하여 물류이동이 활발하게 이루어지고 주변의 관광지들이 개발되면 남과 북 모두가 얼마나 크게 혜택을 받게 될까를 생각하며 기도하며 섬기는 사역입니다.
2) 이 일을 위하여 항구들을, 특별히 방문이 비교적 용이한 라진.선봉 지역을 방문하여 그 땅을 밟고 기도하며, 그 곳에 병원, 유치원, 고아원, 탁아소, 학교등을 지어주고 의약품, 학용품, 급식재료등을 공급하고 지원하는 사역입니다.
3) 그 곳 현지에 있는 사업가들과 기관장들, 그리고 관리들과 관계를 맺고 발전시켜 여러가지 사업을 추진하고 지원하는 사역입니다.

강변사역(Riverside Ministry)
1) 두만강과 압록강을 따라 중국과 북한을 연결하는 12개의 세관이있고 양국을 연결하는 다리가 있습니다. 그리고 이들 다리와 세관들 주변에는 마을과 도시들이 이루어져 활발한 교류가 이루어지고 있습니다. 강변사역은 이들 강변 양쪽의 도시들과 지역 주민들의 복지와 복음화를 위해 기도하며 섬기는 사역입니다.
2) 양쪽 강변을 따라 펄쳐지는 자연환경이 더 푸르고 아름답게 복원되고 도시와 마을들이 철도와 도로로 잘 연결되어 관광객과 물류의 유통이 활발하게 이루어지도록 기도하며 축복하는사역입니다.
3) 조선족 형제 자매들에게 강 건너 친지들을 방문케하며 소규모의 물자와 자본을 지원하여 상업 활동이 활발해 지도록 격려하며 훈련시키는 사역입니다.
4) 조선족 형제 자매들의 신앙생활과 문화생활을 지원하여 동역자로 양육하며, 특별히 북한이 열리고 교회가 세워질 때를 대비하여 조선족 목회자를 세우기 위해 준비하는 사역입니다.

급식사역(Next Generation Ministry)
북한의 자라나는 세대(유아원.애육원.탁아소,유치원 중심)성장에 필요한 기본 식료품을 공급하고 지원해주는 사역 입니다. 콩우유 공급사역, 결식 아동들을 위한 Lunch Box 사역, 의복 공급 사역, 의약품 공급 사역등이 라진, 선봉지역을 중심으로 진행되고 있습니다.

– 지원 내역: 어린이(매일 쌀 100g 콩기름 5g, & 부식비, 1년에 한차례 운동복 지원)

지원사역(Supporting Ministry)
1) 지원사역은 함께 협력하는 단체들의 사역을 지원하고 격려하며 위하여 기도하는 일입니다.
사역 Candidate, 장래의 지도자, 낙심한 사역자들을 지원하고, 격려하고, 조언해주고, 함께 교제하는 사역으로,
특별히 조선족 사역자들과 1.5/2세 사역자들을 위해 많이 기도하며 지원하고 격려해주고 있습니다.

1. Base Camp Ministry (Home Ministry)
1) Dreaming/ envisioning in prayer. By carrying the land of North Korea and the people in our hearts, especially in prayer, we are able to dream and plan for NK ministry. The bimonthly combined prayer/ board meetings meet for this purpose. At each meeting, reports on recent North Korea trips, discussions on the status of ongoing ministries as well as potential future ministries, field workers and collaborators, and the financial aspect of VOWE Missions are constantly being updated. Each of these matters are then being lifted up through our prayers. After each meeting, the prayer meeting report is written up and gets shared among the wider group of all members.
2) Raising up workers in prayer. We desire to train up not only the workers currently involved in North Korea work, but to invest in future workers among the younger generation until the day this closed land opens up.
3) Strengthening the collaboration with other organizations as we pray.
4) Collecting resources in prayer. VOWE’s collection of resources, records, and gathered-data are used to inform those
who show interest in North Korea work, and support new workers launching into North Korea-related ministry.
5) Fundraising in prayer. Currently all of VOWE Missions’ financial support comes from 135 “Hanaset” members ($30
monthly), 50 supporting board members ($100 monthly), 280 special board members (need-based), and 9 supporting churches.
2. Visiting Ministry (Praetorian Ministry)
1) The visitation ministry focuses on building and developing meaningful relationships with North Koreans.
The concept of this ministry originated from when Paul wasimprisoned in Rome. Just like the court guards were evangelized and thereafter the royal families as well as the entire country, we would like to see North Korean guards and government officials being blessed and transformed through our relationships built through believers’ numerous visitations.
3. East – Coast Ministry
1) The visitation ministry focuses on building and developing meaningful relationships with North Koreans.
The concept of this ministry originated from when Paul was imprisoned in Rome. Just like the court guards were evangelized and thereafter the royal families as well as the entire country, we would like to see North Korean guards and government officials being blessed and transformed through our relationships built through believers’ numerous visitations.
2) For this reason, there have been numerous visitations to port cities, especially to the Rajin-Sonbong area.
In conjunction with our prayer walking during our trips there, we are able to supply the hospital, kindergarten, orphanages, daycares and schools with medicines, stationeries, and food-aids.
3) We have developed positive, longstanding relationships with businessmen, government officials and managers.
4. River-side Ministry
1) Along the Tumen and Abnok Rivers, there are 12 customs and bridges connecting North Korea with northeast China. There are strong economic activities and trades among the villages and cities along these rivers. The Riverside Ministry prays for and serves people around these areas along both sides of the border for their physical and spiritual welfare.
2) We pray for the restoration of natural and lush greenery along the rivers. We bless the cities and villages to be well-connected with railroads and road systems so that an active tourism and trade will establish and open up.
3) We train and help Korean-Chinese to visit their relatives and families across the river, and serve North Korean people by supplying small portions of goods and by promoting business activities.
4) Korean-Chinese brothers and sisters are being raised up as co-laborers by assisting their spiritual and cultural needs. Especially in preparation for the opening of North Korea and for churches to eventually be established, we are first investing in the training up of Korean-Chinese as ministers.
5. Food Aid Ministry (Next Generation Miniety)
1) Food-Aid ministry supplies and distributes basic necessities and food supplies for the next generation of NK, from babies to middle-school students. Soy-milk distribution, lunch-box aid for kids who cannot bring their own lunches and medicine supplies are some of the actively ongoing ministries in the Rajin-Sonbong and Pyung Yang areas.
2) We provide buildings and facilities for kindergarten, orphanage, day-care, and medical clinics to streamline the operation of our food-aid ministry. As of October 2023, construction of 18 kindergarten and day-care centers,
5 hospital/clinic have been completed, and 2 orphanage buildings have been on the process of restoration. For further development of Food-Aid/Clinic ministry, funds are being raised for new kindergarten, day-care and hospitals.
6. Support Ministry
1) We encourage and pray for many sponsoring and collaborating partners and organizations.
2) We support, encourage, counsel, and fellowship with potential ministry candidates, future leaders, and discouraged
field-workers. We especially support, sponsor and encourage with much prayer the Korean-Chinese and 1.5 and 2nd generation workers.
3) I am especially grateful to God for active and healthy growth among many Korean-Chinese workers and organizations.
